It depicts a Chinese Chow Chow as they looked in the 1890s. To the left of the picture is an article about the breed. It is described as "curious and apparently half-wild."
The print is very large (folio size), measuring approximately 10 x 14.25 inches (25.5 x 36 cm). The picture fills about half of it, measuring about 7.5 x 5.25 inches, with a caption below it.
The page is in excellent condition for its age.
