SWITCH, LIQUID PRESSURE ACTIVATED ON or OFF
CARLING One, Two or Three phase Manually Operated Toggle Switch
Three Pole Single Throw, ON/ON, 10A, 250VAC, 15A 125vac, 3/4hp, 250vac connect as needed.
AS the fluid connection is pressurized, the electric 3PST Switch can either turn on or turn off. (wired as needed)
1/2" NPT Female port in Stainless Steel block.
Switch DOES NOT Auto-Reset. Pin must be moved to the deactivate (SET) position.
Position of pin can be viewed to monitor switch position.
It is unlikely that the switch position could be changed while the line is under pressure.
This weather sealed switchbox may be used for numerous applications to engage or stop electrical power.
It's primary design was to activate a secondary system if/when anything triggered the primary fire extinguishing water system.
Note: The case is marked 3PDT but this newer design is a 3PST ON-ON. Normally wired center in and only one side out. However, we can supply these with any choice of 3 pole switch (3PST, 3PDT, 3P-MOMETARY.) if requested at the time of order. These accept most any 3 pole switch..
