This very grandiose looking Chow is the originial Artist Proof piece of a Special Limited Edition.  Is artist signed and numbered #4/75.  Number 1 Artist proof pieces seldom come up for sale since the artist’s usually keeps them for themselves.  Made Circa 1993 by the well known American artist Ralph Allen Massey.  Mr Massey has designed and produced many different dog items and figurines through the years and today his pieces have become very much sought after by collectors.  Some of his works are on display at the AKC Dog Museum in St. Louis.  Still in Like New condition.  Has always been in a non smoking environment and has been very well taken care of.  Beautiful detail and expression.  Measures 5.25 inche tall.
