This beautiful segmented full size bird house stands 11" tall x 5 1/2" in dia. The checkered cap is Black Walnut & Hard Maple. The body is made of Ash & Black Walnut. Although it has a clear coat finish and I used waterproof glue, if you use the bird house outdoors try to protect it from the sun & rain so it will look nice for many years. I hang mine under the eve or on the patio.
