It's made of two coordinating  circles of material. It has a drawstring closure ...when pulled open it forms a bowl. Inside there is a main flat section (basically the bottom) for larger items such as a watch, bracelet or large pendant/necklace, and around the edges there are 8 small pockets suitable for pins, rings or small to medium size earrings ...so it really has 9 pockets.   When opened flat, measures about 12.5" across   -- closed it measures about 3.5" across the bottom and  5" tall to the top of the lace
WOULD MAKE A NICE GIFT!
And, it's pretty, so you could just leave it on your dresser to use every day!
I suggest hand wash with Woolite and lay flat on a towel to air dry.
