Description of item...
Here we have an interesting and uncommon hand crafted, hand made set of (2) round BOXES - both made from a "Bowling Pin" by O.S.Lindenberger in the year 1939. Each measures approx. [A] 6" high and [B] 7-1/2" high x [A] 4-3/8" in mid diameter and [B] 3-3/4" in mid diameter. Both have lids, some gold painted bands and bases. The bottom of the smaller box is marked, "MADE BY O.S.Lindenberger ~ December 1939 ~ From A Bowling Pin." Both are in good to very good maintained (displayed/lightly used) condition with no chips or cracks, no major damage noted. They have not been cleaned since acquired and are being offered in "as found" condition currently showing some scuff/rub/light
scratch
marks here and there...all of which are not offensive and to be expected from age and light use. Came from a well cared for private home collection for over 83 years. These items weigh approx. 1 lb., add 2 lbs. or so for the packing box and packing material. I combine shipping when safe and practical for all items purchased.
