    Description

We are pleased to offer for this listing a a rare sample size Longwood Plantation tin that contained pure cane syrup. It says on the can that it was established in 1827 at the Longwood Plantation in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. This little tin only contained 1.2 ounces of syrup, a small sample indeed. It has a paper label that is in excellent condition and has no tears or dents. The small lid is missing. It will look and display well and would make a wonderful addition to any collection.
Measurements are 4” tall from the rim of the opening to the bottom of the tin x 2 ½” w.
