    Description

    Vintage 2 Antique Jews Jaws Mouth Juice Harps. One From The 1900's Made By John R. Smith, And It Is The Larger One. The Smaller One Is From AUSTRIA. The larger one has scratches, some oxidation, Stains. The middle piece has signs of pitting, maybe from moisture or age. Another sign of a jew's harps age is the older ones have uncoated frames as this one does. The larger harp was made by J.R.Smith one of the most famous Jew's harp producing companies in the U.S.A. from the end of the 19th century until the middle of the 20th century. The smaller one is newer and from Austria, And the frames are coated, as you will see in the pictures. I would put it around the early 40's to the early 60's. Both are in good used condition.
